We love baseball almost as much as we love needlearts!  That’s why we’re proud to once again partner with Pacific Fabrics & Crafts, the corporate sponsor for the 6th Annual Seattle Mariners Stitch ‘n Pitch Night.

What is Stitch ‘n Pitch?  Launched in Seattle in 2005, it’s a combination of two favorite American traditions -- baseball and needlearts. Dedicated seating sections are set aside for those wishing to participate and, as the game unfolds, thousands of stitchers of all ages enjoy the action while they work on their projects.  This year, the Mariners’ Stitch ‘n Pitch Night will be held on August 5th at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington.  Knitting designer, author, yarn supplier, and magazine publisher Debbie Bliss will be throwing out the first pitch for the game pitting Seattle against the Texas Rangers.  Clover is providing knitting needles for the 600 goodie totes being distributed to Stitch ‘n Pitch fans.  And there’s more!  Pacific Fabrics & Crafts is also providing 50 “Lucky Row” bags to be given away during the game. 

And something we’ve always dreamed about … our name will be up in lights! Yes, as a partner in this event, the Clover name will be displayed on the Jumbo Tron during the game!
