The Wonder Knitter (Art No.3101) is my favorite pick this month. This cool tool makes a knit tube that can be used as a sweater embellishment of even handles for purses, among other things.

However, I recently found a new use for it. My 22-year-old granddaughter has an adorable puppy named Lucy and wanted something other than the typical leash found in most pet supply stores. We decided the Wonder Knitter could give us something unique that would be the envy of doggie parents everywhere! We made a very long tube with  some very jazzy yarns and covered a plain leash. Lucy and her mommy, Cynthia, now think Granny is the best and when Lucy goes to the park all the other dogs are quite envious of her elegant leash cover.

The Wonder Knitter can also be used to make a cover for your dog’s collar, but why stop there? Get some doggie leg warmers going and really complete the outfit!
